Meditation Practitioners
If you are one of many meditation practitioners or currently using centering prayer to move your spiritual path forward, I would like to hear from you as I begin to prepare a course for tweaking the method you might have been taught, so that you have the greatest chance of reaching God-Consciousness with your efforts.
Like you I struggled too to understand the meditation instruction I was given back in 1973. Back then I was told what to do with a five to ten minute set of instructions and twenty minutes of meditation in front of the instructor.
I’m sure, like other meditation practitioners, I often think back at how little preparation was given to me, in light of the ultimate destination that I ended up at. I’m talking about being told the general benefits of meditation, while being left in the dark about the major life changing event that can happen to a person, which literally can rock your whole life view.
Meditation practitioners, whether your practice is yoga, traditional meditation, centering prayer, or you are just thinking of beginning a practice, it would be wise to consider the future avenue you have put in place or will put it place, for the twists and turns your practice will create in the way of questions. Questions on where you are along your path. Questions on things you are experiencing while meditating. And especially, questions that will come up when major events occur due to your practice.
Meditation Practitioners Have Questions That Span The Gamut
Understand that there is nothing to fear as a meditation practitioner. People do have questions however, that range from:
- Do I have to sit in a lotus position to meditate, because my body just doesn’t bend that easily?
- Why do I feel I’m not progressing forward?
- What does this thought that popped into my mind mean?
- What just happened? My mind seemed to move from my head to my stomach area?
- How does a person know when they reached God-Consciousness?
- How do I identify my Soul?
- If I slip through into one of God’s many mansions will I return safely?
- Can I communicate with God once I stand before him?
As you can see, there will be lots of questions, because the other side you will enter is nothing like here in the way you are able to react with it. This is why I want to have you understand that you will need questions answered and this is where I can be of assistance those already a meditation practitioner or a person just starting out.
Like I said, I’m trying to finish my book that will tell you about my experience and I am also working on a training course for those that would like to learn from someone that has reached this higher consciousness and can coach you along the way.
Meditation Practitioners Can Always Use A Tweak To Their Practice
Also, there are those that have been meditating for a while and maybe a tweak or two can give those people a bump to improve what they are doing now. The goal of any of these meditation or centering prayer practices is to reach your higher self or God-Consciousness.
For those meditation practitioners that don’t know that fact, then expect to be like me when I stumbled upon the Source we call God. Lost… searching for answers that most modern and ancient texts can only hint at. This subject is best taught and explained by someone with direct experience, rather than a P.H.D. received from reading lots of books. I say this with all due respect, but even the ancient mystic’s warned those seeking these direct experiences to be careful in area of knowledge from others.
Ask your questions so I can get a feel for where you are struggling with.

i have been reading web sites, but i still canot understan the meaning of the word mystic and can it be found in the bible? thanks for your help
Reva,
You probably won’t find anything on mysticism in the bible because the church either burned them at the stake or convinced mystics to change their story to conform more to what the church policy was at the time.
However, the truth is and I’m sure many Christians will disagree, but Jesus in my belief was the perfect example of a mystic. By that I mean he was the same as many yogis walking the earth even today.
Here’s an amazing story about a nun for you to explore and think about.
